The Living Wage
The Living Wage is a moral issue as well as a political and economic one.
Working people deserve a wage that gives them a decent standard of living, the ability to save and the security to plan for the future.
Under the last Labour administration, South Lanarkshire Council became an accredited Living Wage Employer.
If elected I will stand up for the real Living Wage and promote it throughout Rutherglen and South Lanarkshire.
